So can I get an OY OY OY from you lot this week? Ready … Aussie, Aussie, Aussie … First up is the only openly gay contestant from The Voice this year, Yshrael, who brings us his debut single. More gay and very local from Peter Wilson, and he’s also on writing duties for local independent lass Sammy Paul this week. More local excellence from another of our favourites, Empire Live, and Sunshine Coast lass Zia rounds out the Aussie additions this week. Adding to the lesbian count is the follow-up UK #3 single from Stooshe (Courtney is the gay one). We round it out with new offerings from favourites Leona, Kelly and The Killers. And finally, new from Sweden is Alesso, stepping in where Swedish House Mafia are stepping off, teaming up with Carly Rae Jepsen’s LA-based boyfriend, Matthew Koma.
