Independent Queenslander Casey Barnes starts us off with his new single, co-written with co-idol 2009 contestant & songwriter success story Hayley Warner. Yolanda Be Cool have secured indigenous superstar Gurrumul as a featured vocalist – it sounds amazing. Darwin born, US based Vassy has hit #1 on US dance charts with her debut single – it now gets support here in Aus.
Eurovision love for Germany with the Cascada entry getting an Aussie release. Nadia Ali vocals (of IIO fame) are used to full effect with Morgan Page production. Selena Gomez dumps Disney, Bieber and The Scene to go solo for the first time.
Canadian Avril Lavigne and US TV actor turned singer Monroe Asher (Book) round out the offerings this week.
