Our Australian additions kick off with a fantastic new Sydney vocalist, Adam Katz, who has scored well to have British producer and Gaydio presenter Richard Cutmore working on his debut single with Central Station.
Melbourne 4-piece outfit Strange Talk are back with their fourth release from the debut album, “Cast Away” – loving these guys!
British 4-piece Fenech-Soler are finally back on the radar and it’s worth the wait. Also out of Britain are the latest X Factor concoction, Union J (named for the first 3 boys in the band – the 4th joined later in the show) and their debut single. Olly Murs has a ballad for us in ”Dear Darlin’” after two up-tempo chart-toppers (Troublemaker & Army of Two) – it’s very Robbie Williams in style.
Following the Eurovision 2013 final, we’ve brought the winner from Denmark and our favourite marriage equality advocate from Finland into the mix.
Out of the USA, Static Revenger – the man who made Luciana famous with “Skin I’m In” & “I Like That” – hits us up with a new vocalist and a slightly less aggressive electro-house number.
And finally, Mariah & Miguel are racing up the charts with the ballad #beautiful (no, I don’t know why it’s hashtagged) and the whole world is seemingly in love with Mariah all over again, so we’ll play along.
