Britain’s Scarlette Fever has featured on our playlist since 2010, and when she was on on holiday in Australia with her girlfriend recently, she took time out to chat with Ginni and Adam on Rise Up. Scarlette’s new remix EP is released shortly and we’ve chosen the unmistakenly girl-about-girl “6ft Woman” as our first addition for this week.
The Divergent original soundtrack album is packed with winners, including two songs from Ellie Goulding. Beating Heart is the second single lifted from the album, following “Find You” from Zedd, which we’re also featuring on JOY.
The enigmatic Prince recently appeared in an episode of New Girl, which airs on Eleven here in Australia. During the show he performed a duet with the star of the show, Zooey Deschanel. No word of any new album as yet, but “FALLINLOVE2NIGHT” has now been released as an official single and is the most radio-friendly work by Prince in some time.
Little Mix have recorded this year’s UK Sport Relief charity single, covering the 1986 smash hit (Australia #6 / UK #3) by Cameo, Word Up.
On the back of two hugely successful singles and a No 1 album in Australia, American duo MKTO are set to appear at the Logie Awards and tour nationally. Their third single is another fun pop singalong.
