Having just kicked off her new Dressed to Kill live shows and off the back of US dance-chart success with “Take It Like a Man”, Cher gives us her third single from Closer to the Truth. “I Walk Alone” comes with a 7th Heaven remix first up and more remixes in the wings.
Germany’s Cascada are back with another cover. Originally recorded in 2012 by British female duo U.V.U.K. and featured on JOY at the time, the Cascada version of Blink definitely ups the energy levels in their classic style.
Dutch DJ-producer Fedde Le Grand has teamed up with long-running and locally successful Dutch rock band DI-RECT. Perhaps looking a little towards Swedish House Mafia and the like and those successful collaborations with rock-style vocalists for inspiration, Where We Belong fits right into that mould.
In a similar vein, British producer duo the Freemasons team up with a strong male vocalist in Joel Edwards for their latest, “U Drive Me Crazy”.
Finally, Rita Ora was one of the most successful solo artists in the UK in 2012. “I Will Never Let You Down”, the first single from her forthcoming second album, is written and produced by Rita’s boyfriend, the highly successful Calvin Harris.
