Popular and successful as both a DJ and a producer since 2001, I Am Sam has worked with many of Australia’s biggest names in music. His collaboration with Central Station Records stalwart DJ Archie and Melbourne independent singer-songwriter Sophia Brown, Firefly, kicks off our new music additions this week.
Also courtesy of Central Station, we have the new Swedish production collaboration of Steerner & Dzasko teaming up with Milwaukee-based singer Jonny Rose for Why Do You Love Me.
The Voice 2012 finalist Prinnie returns to our airwaves with her second single, One Night, another quality pop offering. We can only hope it gains better traction with the Australian buying public than sadly occurred with her first single, Don’t Wake Me Up.
Excitingly, this week also sees the return to the airwaves of Melbourne out-and-proud DJ-producer Gavin Campbell, a man who has been a pillar of the gay dance scene since the eighties. Gavin has teamed up with another local production impresario, Paul Brandoli (most recently the man behind Natalie Gauci’s Tune in Tokyo project), and a new Melbourne-via-Geelong singer-songwriter, Evangeline, for The Saboteurs.
