Leading the charge in our new music additions this week is Australian Idol 2005 winner Kate DeAraugo! A platinum-selling number one debut single and platinum-selling debut album made her a household name, and we can’t forget she was a founding member of our favourite Aussie girl band, Young Divas. It has been six years in the making, but Kate’s new single, Shut Your Mouth, has been worth the wait.
American Idol 2009 runner-up, out-and-proud singer-songwriter Adam Lambert has been rocking stadiums around the world performing with Queen while writing new music and locking in a new record label. His first release with Warner Brothers Records and lead single for a new album due out 12 June is Ghost Town.
On the back of his worldwide hit ‘Jealous’, former Disney star Nick Jonas has released his second solo single, Chains, with a selection of remixes to work for every occasion.
UK singer-songwriter Jessie J has title track duties on the new Pitch Perfect 2 motion-picture soundtrack with ‘Flashlight’.
With a Logies appearance in Melbourne locked in for out-and-proud drag queen and Eurovision Song Contest 2014 winner Conchita Wurst, Sony Music Australia has released both her current album and lead single You Are Unstoppable this week.
