Just for the fun of it! Australian rock music icon Jimmy Barnes also has a highly successful sideline in soul, with three platinum-selling albums of covers since 2000. The 1965 Wilson Pickett classic In the Midnight Hour is Jimmy’s latest, and it kicks off our new music this week.
Madcon are a hip-hop/electronica duo from Norway. They’ve been around since 1992 but have only ventured onto the worldwide scene recently, having teamed up with Kelly Rowland and Snoop Dogg on their latest album. Their new single sees them team up with American Ray Dalton, who is best known for his work with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Don’t Worry is lots of funky fun.
UK singer-songwriter Foxes has been bubbling along after initially winning a Grammy with Zedd in 2012. Her debut album was top 5 in the UK and top 40 in Australia. Body Talk is the first single from her forthcoming second studio album.
