Kicking off our new music this week is Melbourne-based DJ, recently turned producer Piero. For vocals he’s teamed with Melbourne-based Alius, who we’re already familiar with as one half of the out-and-proud twin-sibling duo Bec & Sebastian, i.e. Sebastian Ivanov.
Two of the top-placing finalists from this year’s Australian X Factor are set for album releases shortly, and both have singles out this week. Welcome to our roster, Louise Adams and Jess & Matt.
Norwegian DJ-producer Kygo follows up his early 2014 hit ‘Firestarter’ (with Conrad Sewell) by teaming up with one of our favourite young British female artists, ‘Ghost’ singer Ella Henderson.
US pop star Taylor Swift racks up single number six from 1989 with ‘Out of the Woods’.
And Canadian singer-songwriter-producer The Weeknd is back with single four, ‘In the Night’, from his second studio album.
