It’s an all-Australian week for new-music list this time, which seems appropriate for the week that includes Australia Day.
Kicking us off is the 2014 Australian X Factor runner-up, a country music boy band from Mudgee called Brothers 3. Their latest single, C’mon, is anything but country, forming part of an eclectic mix of styles from their album, Brothers Never Part, which was released last week.
The Adelaide trio At Sunset, who we launched onto radio a couple of years back and who last year won the MTV Brand New for 2015 competition, have a new single, ‘Kiss Me’. Its release coincides with their national tour supporting American band R5 and British band The Vamps.
Sydney-based independent pop-rock artist Vander scoreshis first addition to JOY. His new single, Shine, has elements of funk, alternative and rock with a strong 80s vibe, and we we think you’ll love it.
Melbourne-based independent singer-songwriter Hayley Teal returns to the JOY airwaves with ‘Our Love’. This one has been produced by out-and-proud local Sebastian Ivanov, aka Alius.
