Our new music kicks off this week with German-American DJ-producer Markus Schulz. He’s teamed up with American singer-songwriter Ethan Thompson for Love Me Like You Never Did, the lead single from his forthcoming sixth studio album.
Relatively new Aussie artist Montaigne has been flying under the radar a little, but still building a strong fan base. We’re on the bandwagon now and think you’ll join us when you hear Because I Love You.
Californian producer SNBRN (pronounced ‘sunburn’) has teamed up with the late Nate Dogg for Gangsta Walk. It features a previously unreleased Nate Dogg a capella rap that SNBRN acquired officially from the late performer’s estate.
French DJ-producer DJ Snake is currently based in Miami. His new single, Talk features Australian singer-songwriter-producer George Maple.
American trio Before You Exit are brothers Connor, Riley and Toby McDonough. Their first single release in Australia, ‘When I’m Gone’, gets a place on our playlist this week.
When we first met New Zealand-born, Melbourne-based DJ-producer Jolyon Petch a couple of years back, he was an independent trying to find his way in the Australian music scene, starting first in Brisbane and then moving to Melbourne. Now part of the Vicious Recordings roster, he’s recently scored some major wins across the world on the club charts. His latest single is a very radio-friendly update of the classic 1994 hit by Strike. You are sure to enjoy this excellent rework of ‘U Sure Do’.
