The 2016 Olympic Games are just around the corner and, as occurs with any major television event these days, there’s the obligatory song to accompany the broadcast. In this case the American NBC network has picked up Katy Perry’s call for the world to unite in trying times, Rise. It kicks off our new music this week.
British electronic-R&B duo Snakehips, whose hit ‘All My Friends’ was 3x platinum in 2015, have teamed up with former One Direction member Zayn for their new single, ‘Cruel’.
American out-and-proud singer-songwriter Mary Lambert has released a new single, Hang Out with You, which along with the video is ridiculously cute. We’re loving this one and we know you will too.
Set your alarm and tune into Michael on the Six at Six for the newest songs to the mix, every weekday at 6am Melbourne time.
