Kicking off our new music this week is the Sydney-based independent four-piece Little Sea. If anything, since parting ways with Sony Music the boys have put out their best music yet. Their latest single, ‘Revolve’, is the second from a forthcoming EP.

Nick Littlemore and Luke Steele have been touring Empire of the Sun across Europe and North America almost constantly since the release of their last album, Ice on the Dune, in 2013. They have, however, found time to get into the studio, and their third album, Two Vines, will be out on 28 October. The first single, ‘High and Low’, is exactly what you would for hope from these stalwart Australian producers.

Aussie ARIA-winning dance group Rüfüs are back with the third single, ‘Be with You’, from their latest album.

American singer-songwriter, record producer, dancer, actress and former model Tinashe shared a huge top-five hit with Snakehips in Australia last year, as the vocalist on ‘All My Friends’. We have the first single, ‘Superlove’, from her second studio album for your listening delight.

Norwegian producer Kygo performed a song lifted from his debut album, Cloud Nine, with American vocalist Julia Michaels at the 2016 Olympics closing ceremony. Subsequently ‘Carry Me’ is having an immediate impact on the charts around the world.

American pop-rock band One Republic are back with the second single, ‘Kids’, from their forthcoming fourth studio album.

British multi-platinum-selling artist Ellie Goulding has a new single. ‘Still Falling for You’ is lifted from the Bridget Jones’s Baby original soundtrack.

Those Swedish ‘Peanut Butter Jelly’ boys are back. This time Galantis have teamed up with Dutch duo East & Young for ‘Make Me Feel’.

Set your alarm and tune into Michael on the Six at Six for the newest songs to the mix, every weekday at 6am Melbourne time.
