Launching to an onslaught of love and hate, causing passionate discussion in both her monsters and her maulers, Lady Gaga’s Perfect Illusion has divided the pop world. We’re okay with it and think it’s a grower, and therefore it kicks off our new music this week.
German DJ-producer Topic is back to follow up his debut smash hit, ‘Home’. For Find You, he has teamed up with Jake Reese, a Dutch singer-songwriter and winner of the International Dance Music Award’s Best Featured Vocalist 2016. We’re expecting another hit.
‘A few months ago, Melbourne-based Australian 19-year-old DJ-producer Throttle produced Money Maker, a dance track that sampled James Brown. It’s gone crazy across European dance floors and now has a bunch of fun vocals from international stars Lunchmoney Lewis (‘Bills’) and Aston Merrygold (‘Get Stupid’) to assure its successful crossover into pop-hit world.
Taylor Henderson, the chart-topping 23-year-old Australian talent show veteran, is now based in Melbourne and has a new single launching alongside the movie ‘Spin Out’, in which he makes a cameo appearance. After a couple of misses chartwise in the last couple of years, ‘Light Up the Dark’, has all the hallmarks of another big hit.
Zara Larsson is already top 30 in Australia with her third single, ‘Ain’t My Fault’, and we’re on board with this more urban offering from the Swedish singer-songwriter.
