Need more uplifting music? You’ve come to the right place.

She had a massive hit with Don’t Kill My Vibe, was just named this year’s BBC Sound of the Year and has over 2 million fans on Spotify – Sigrid is big! The latest for this Norwegian singer has dropped in Australia, and with over 7 million YouTube views already, we’re sure Strangers is going to be one of your songs of the year.

Kesha is proud to be a woman, and the third single from Rainbow is an anthem for anyone who is independent and strong. ‘Woman’ got to #78 on the Australian chart when it was first released as a promo single in July last year, but with an official drop, it’s bound to go up the chart. We’ve taken Dave Audé‘s reworking to deliver a total banger and fill you with pride to be a woman, to be independent, to be yourself.

Back in 1987, Paul Lekakis released one of the decade’s biggest hits – Boom Boom (Let’s Go Back to My Room). It stayed at #1 in Australia for five weeks and has stayed on 80s playlists ever since. The out-and-proud singer, actor and model is back with a song written by JOY’s own John Von Ahlen. ‘Somebody (Is Out There)’ welcomes the synthy goodness of 80s pop back to your ears, with John’s Parralox remix adding a bit of extra sparkle.

Matt Watkins is a youngster who’s well known in clubs all around Australia. This Melbourne-based DJ has headlined shows at Marquee in Sydney, The Met Brisbane, Platinum and Billboard, and he’s now getting the spotlight on him here at JOY. Working alongside American country singer-songwriter Meghan Kabir, Matt delivers a feel-good bop in ‘Good Thing’. We’re sure you’ll be feeling all the good things after hearing this one.

Zedd can just about do no wrong. Now he’s teamed up with American duo Grey to deliver what should be another hit for the Russian-German producer. ‘The Middle’ has been taken up by an American retailer for its spring campaign, but don’t let the blatant commercialism stop you from giving it a go. Grammy-winning country singer Maren Morris lends her voice to this one, which we think you’ll warm up to after a few listens.
