We have three delicious new treats for you in Melbourne’s most uplifting music mix this week.
Aussie singer-songwriter Starley is a member of the 1 billion club thanks to worldwide streaming of the Ryan Riback remix of her 2016 hit Call on Me. She came out as bisexual last year and released the deeply personal anthem ‘Love is Love’ before performing at the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Party. The party continues with ‘Lovers + Strangers’, a bop all about the drama that happens when your lover and best friend is no longer. It’s one to dance to.
The three Italians who gave us the multi-platinum smash Piece of Your Heart are back with another dancefloor treasure. Luca de Gregorio, Mattia Vitale and Simone Giani, aka Meduza, have teamed up again with British vocal trio GOODBOYS to deliver ‘Lose Control’, featuring the vocals of English singer Becky Hill. We reckon it’ll take you on a journey. Just let the beat wash over you and surrender.
Jax Jones‘ pantry is so full that he’s had to release another single from his Snack album. It’s quite a tasty one, too. ‘This is Real’ sees Ella Henderson deliver the perfect vocal to go with a bite-sized morsel of summer goodness. There’s no point dieting with Jax around – you’ll need the energy to dance the night away!
