New music to weekdays (25 March, 2015)
Reece Mastin – Rebel and the Reason (SFR) [AU]
Of Monsters and Men – Crystals (UMA)
Dash Berlin and John Dahlback ft. BullySongs – Never Let You Go (ONE/SME)
Kicking off our additions this week is the Australian 2011 X Factor winner, Reece Mastin. After three years with Sony Music, a debut platinum-selling album and three top 5 singles, he’s elected to go his own way as an independent. ‘Rebel and the Reason’ is the title track from his forthcoming EP.
Icelandic five-piece indie folk-pop group Of Monsters and Men scored an Australian #1 with their debut album in 2012. The first single, ‘Crystals’, from the band’s forthcoming second album is set to make its mark too.
The guys behind Dutch trance project Dash Berlin have been making their mark in that genre since 2007. They’ve recently teamed up with Swedish house producer John Dahlback and UK producer-singer-songwriter BullySongs to create an epic high-energy vocal track we think you will enjoy.
Set your alarm and tune into Rochén and Michael on the six at six for the newest songs to the mix, every weekday at 6am Melbourne time.
