In other news today – Hepatitis C has exploded in our nations prisons – of the 30,000 individuals currently held at her majesties pleasure, 50% are living with HepC. Brett Collins from Justice Action is calling for the introduction of a needle and syringe program to be implemented throughout the prison system.
