Our first guest plans to make the world’s largest collection of photographs and stories from Gay men. How hard can that be?
Kevin Truong is a New York based photographer who is on a mission. The Gay Men Project has so far taken Kevin to 15 cities, seven countries and four continents in order to capture the lives of almost 400 men. This global archive has only just begun and Kevin has launched a Kickstarter campaign to help him finance his worldwide journey. (Postscript: Kevin raised more than the USA$30K he was after).
The Victorian AIDS Council’s CEO Simon Ruth joins us to discuss in detail the roll out of FORTH – an HIV home testing study that is currently recruiting.
A couple of days ago, USA Vice President Joe Biden spoke to over 1,000 LGBT rights supporters at the Human Rights Campaign Los Angeles gala on March 22, 2014. Vice President Biden’s inspiring remarks in support of global LGBT equality represent the latest step from a White House that has made fairness and dignity for LGBT people one of its top priorities.
