His drop-dead good looks, beaming smile and genuine warmth have garnered Jason Ball a loyal and admiring following from all walks of life.

As the first Aussie Rules player to come out as being gay, Jason has kicked many goals from addressing homophobia in sport to raising awareness of LGBTI mental health issues as an ambassador for beyondblue.  .

But don’t be fooled by his luscious red locks, Jason is Green to the core.

Following recent knee surgery which abruptly ended his playing career, Jason is now playing the field in the game of politics and will run in the seat of Higgins at the next Federal election for the The Greens.
