For this program, the Out Takes team dive into the world of queer German cinema and look at some of the gayest films to show at this year‘s German Film Festival.
Our guests are Clemens Schick (pictured), the out gay actor who rose to fame in ‘Casino Royale’ and who stars in two films showing at this year’s Festival, and Jella Haase, who is widely regarded as one of Germany’s brightest up and coming actors. Haase stars in three films showing at the Festival, including LOOPING, the new lesbian drama from Leonie Krippendorff.
We also speak with Festival Director Sonja Griegoschewski about the Festival, the German cinematic landscape, and queer representation in German Film.
