For this episode of OUT TAKES, we ushered in the new year by saluting the last! We counted down our top queer films from 2017 and if the award buzz is anything to go by, 2017 was a good year for queer cinema.
So to help us sort through our top picks, we invited in Star Observer’s Matthew Wade and Paul Tonta, the head of theatrical acquisitions at Madman Entertainment, into the OUT TAKES studio where they gave their picks for the best of 2017 and a few gems to look out for in 2018 too. We also reviewed the latest news from this year’s Golden Globe awards, which streamed live before the program.
Let us know if you agreed with our selections or want to let us know about something we missed on the Out Takes Facebook page.
