As has become tradition, the Out Takes team came together the week before the Oscars to look at this years nominees and make their predictions on who would take home the big awards.

SPOILER ALERT – we got some right, many wrong and lamented for those who missed out on even getting nominated (Luca Guadagnino in the Best Director category, The Florida Project in Best Film and for Daniel, The Greatest Showman in every category other than Best Original Song).

We also looked at some of the trends that have appeared with this years nominees after recent controversies around equality and representation to see if it was a another case of #OscarsSoWhite or #OscarsSoRight.
