Must-See Movies for this Holiday Season and New Year

With Christmas Day behind us, the Out Takes team took a deep dive with this special program to look at many of the great films that are coming our way from Boxing Day and into the New Year.

West Side Story, House of Gucci, Licorice Pizza, The Power of the Dog, The Matrix Resurrections, King Richard, The Tragedy of Macbeth and more; obviously there is a lot on offer to discuss with this fantastic line up of blockbusters, art house, documentaries and biopics plus a few remakes and reboots of course. So to do this justice we brought in the big guns, Cinema Nova CEO Kristian Connelly and Madman Cinema’s Theatrical Acquisitions Manager Paul Tonta, to share with us the films they’re excited to see this holiday season and give us some tips on a few films that are not to be missed in the year ahead.

Of course the Out Takes team also had our say on what films we’re really looking forward to seeing these holidays and in 2022; as always an eclectic selection with lots of strong opinions but when it comes to us, what else would you expect!
