Out Takes 2022 Oscars special – part 1

It’s an annual tradition that when the Academy Awards roll around, the Out Takes team take out our crystal ball and make some calculated and wildly subjective predictions on who will take home the major awards. After a very subdued 2021 ceremony impacted by COVID, the Oscars were coming back with three hosts and a big crowd in Los Angeles this year and at the time of recording were being promoted as a return to form (little did we know that this would also be the event that saw the infamous Will Smith/Chris Rock SLAP incident occur live in front of millions of viewers and dominate the news headlines for weeks to come). We made some pretty obvious and out there predictions for this show; being that there were some surprise winners on the night it’s make for great listening to see what we got right and where we missed the mark completely!
