‘Elvis’ with special guest Catherine Martin

With the release of Baz Luhrmann’s eagerly anticipated epic cinematic spectacle about the king of rock n roll, we dedicated this program to taking a deep dive in to the man, the myth and the musical legend that was Elvis Presley. Featuring an exclusive interview with four time Academy Award winner Catherine Martin on her experience working on the film as a producer, costume designer and production designer plus her insight in to why her creative and life partner Baz Luhrmann was so passionate about bringing Elvis’s story and legacy back to the big screen. We of course took a closer look at the film too, which features a breakout performance from Austin Butler and a very rare stumble for Tom Hanks, and let you know our thoughts on this latest retelling of the life, loves and tragedy behind the Elvis legend.
