Now in its 70th year, the Melbourne International Film Festival returns to cinemas and online this August with a monumental new program featuring more than 370 films and a stellar line up of in-cinema experiences. We can’t wait! So to get in the mood, we kicked off our coverage of the Festival by speaking with Artistic Director Al Cossar – the man who makes it all happen – about this year’s incredible line up of award winning, eagerly anticipated, local and international films (and spoiler alert – all the best ones are queer).
