It’s finally that time of year again: MQFF is back! Running from November 10 – 21, the 32nd Melbourne Queer Film Festival features a Spotlight on Brazil, 35 Australian premieres, 49 feature films and documentaries, 12 short film packages, and four Melbourne premieres. So for this Out Takes, we went straight to the source; our guest was Festival Director Spiro Economopoulos, who joined us to unpack the exciting new program and as always, provide some great recommendations on must-see films for this years festival. We also revisited some of our recent chats with film makers screening content at this year’s Festival, including the writer of IN FROM THE SIDE, Adam Silver, and the star of LONESOME, Josh Lavery.
