For this week on Out Takes, we celebrated the international premiere of THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL at the Queer Screen – Mardi Gras Film Festival by looking at some of our favourite drag films!

THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL is the camp new romp from director James Demitri starring Drag Race alumnus Maxi Shield as a jilted lover who finds herself at the center of a farcical murder mystery.

To celebrate, we revisited some of our favourite Out Takes interviews with auteurs of drag cinema: think John Waters and PRISCILLA director, Stephan Elliott. We also spoke with James Demitri and Maxi Shield about their camp new farce, which co-stars Manuel Kornisiuk and Jack Stratton-Smith.
