Ever since the announcement was made in 2020 that there was a film version of the ‘Mean Girls’ musical coming, we’ve been waiting and hoping that it was going to live up to the legacy of the 2004 teen classic. Well, the moment is here, so we knew we had to dedicate a show to ‘Mean Girls’ 2.0 and find out if it is as fetch as the first one!

To atart of, we revisited the original Mean Girls and discussed how this film went on to become such a significant moment in teen cinema history and why it is still a joy to watch 20 years later. Then we turned the spotlight on the new version and gave our verdict on whether it lives up to the hype with its fresh take on some much loved characters plus all of the singing and dancing added in to the mix because don’t forget, this is a movie musical people!

Finally we did a re-cap on the recent Golden Globes and discuss the winners plus the good, bad and ugly that we have come to expect from these award ceremonies.
