We’ve been enjoying covering the Melbourne Queer Film Festival the past couple of weeks but for this show we decided to look at some of the latest queer and LGBTIQ-adjacent films and television we’ve been enjoying recently a.k.a. Out Takes Recommends: November 2022 edition.

We looked at new releases (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and My Policeman) to the latest return seasons of two of our favourites (The White Lotus and The L Word: Generation Q) plus Daniel spoke to Darren Downs, the writer and director of ‘The Flats’, about his new project, a 6-part comedy series starring real residents of inner-city Melbourne’s community housing that is streaming now on the ‘Slap Bang’ YouTube Channel.
