This week on Out Takes we celebrated JOY’s Radiothon by running the second annual OUT TAKES MOVIE AWARDS. We nominated films across three categories: films that are out, films that are loud, and films that are proud. And we brought in a host of industry guests to pick the winning films.
We were joined by the CEO of Film Victoria, Jenni Tosi, as well as local film makers Neil Triffet and Craig Boreham. Neil Triffett is the director of EMO THE MUSICAL, which screened at Berlinale earlier this year and is now in cinemas across the country. Craig Boreham is the director of TEENAGE KICKS, which screened at the Mardi Gras Film Festival in February.
Which film took out the top award in each category? Tune in this special Out Takes JOY-cast to find out!
