Today on Pets-A-Loud we are continuing to wave the feline flag loud and proud.
They’ve been sharing our home for thousands of year, they’ve been close friends of notable intellectuals, yet for reasons we’ll begin to explore in the program today, cats are at times misunderstood, overlooked and even devalued.
As we speak, both our North Melbourne and Campaspe (Echuca) shelters have a high number of deserving cats and kittens waiting to be adopted into loving homes.
Each cat is unique as a fingerprint but share one thing in common – they desperately want and need to be adopted.
Coming up on the show today,
– We dust off the history books and look at cats in history and pop culture,
– We check in with the Campaspe Shelter Manager about why they have so many cats,
– We hear from Joysters behind the scene about why they think cats are cool,
– Sammi from Joy’s Yes We Are program drops in to tell us about one very special feline in her life,
– Alan will share a particular trend he’s noticed at the vet clinic when it comes to microchipping,
– And, at the tail end of the show, we’ll preview the latest dates to add to your social pooches calendar on Dog Dates!
