For many of you, the end of year holiday is only hours away….or maybe now that you’re on lunch your brain is already on vacation! You may have your car packed ready to head off on a camping trip as soon as the clock strikes 5, while some of you will be “stay-cationing” this festive season.

This week we continue our Summer Special series to give you useful advice on how to keep your pets safe and merry whatever your plans this time of the year!

• With temperatures rising and fire bans in parts of the state, we catch up with CFA education officer Ellisa Bourne again about how to keep your pets safe this summer,
• Tips on holidaying with and without your pets,
• Catherine our Vet Nurse Manger from the Lost Dogs Home Frank Samways Clinic, will take us through some of the typical health issues that impact cats and dogs during the summer months,
• Potential Christmas and summer hazards you need to look out for.
• And, at the tail end of the program, we’ll have Dogs Dates!
