- The Sydney University AFL club is holding a pride game to promote inclusiveness and to fight homophobia in sport.

- The body of missing Sydney man, Matthew Leveson, has been found.
- Amnesty International has gathered more than half a million signatures calling for an end to the alleged persecution of gay and bisexual men in Chechnya.
- Tennis player, Margaret Court, who stirred controversy with increasingly outrageous comments about the LGBTIQ community last week, has been used in a poster for a Melbourne gay event.
- The annual GLORIA’s were handed out last week, with some high profile winners.
In Sport;
- American soccer teams will be wearing rainbow themed uniforms to support LGBTIQ pride month.
- Tennis player, Andy Murray, says he may refuse to play on Margaret Court Arena at the Australian Open, after Margaret Court’s latest homophobic rant.
