Rainbow Report Asks: Who Needs Marriage?

Yup, you heard me. Why don’t we forget marriage – some things are more important. Or so lots of gay people think.

Like the ongoing discrimination impacting our kids, leading to a huge rate of suicide and self-harm, as this report shows.

And anyway, don’t we have enough rights and protections under the law anyway?

To discuss the proposition, we have Tim Peppard of Australian Marriage Equality , who naturally takes a rather different view,

Rebecca Dahl of Nicholes Family Lawyers, to help us to understand what we already have under the law and what we still need

Lyn Hillier, author of the Writing Themselves In reports, about the attitudes of young people and what they need

And finally, singer Jade Leonard, who is fundraising for Equal Love with a song.
