Its Melbourne Day! Bronwyn Pike is Macca’s co-host today as we welcome back very proud Lord Mayor of Melbourne, Robert Doyle. Federation Square architect and designer, Donald Bates was in to discuss our wonderful central meeting place and comedian Rachel Berger helped us look at Melbourne’s history with a giggle and a pickle.
Winter Olympian and former Member for Forest Hill Kirstie Marshals has a look at Melbourne’s sporting heritage while Fiona Sweetman from Melbourne’s Walking Tours company lets us in on some secrets even we didn’t know about our fair city. Pete Dillon piped in with some big news stories from the week and we invited chef Ian Curley from The Eurpoean to the table to talk about our very rich gastronomic presence not he world stage.
All in All, a wonderful celebration of Melbourne Day right here in the heart of the World’s Most Liveable City.
