Brenton Geyer’s memorable mardi-gras moments

In the recently published 40 year anniversary book he is quoted in an article by Melbourne writer Daniel Brace as follows “… For many, but especially for those who come from afar, the parade and all its trappings hold a profound personal significance, says Geyer. The term pilgrimage means something spiritual for whatever reason, whether it’s religious, personal or a rite of passage, he says. Mardi Gras was absolutely that, a rite of passage for me …”
