Sally Capp, Melbourne’s new Lord Mayor

Sally Capp is Melbourne’s new Lord Mayor, and the first woman to be directly elected to the position. Before that she was Victorian Executive Director of The Property Council @PropertyCouncil, a development lobby group, was the COO of the Victorian Chamber of Commerce & Industry @VicChamber, and has also served as a board member of Collingwood FC @CollingwoodFC.

She promised a non-traditional approach, and to shake things up.

She speaks about her inauguration, winning 53% of the vote, and her plans for the future.
