The biggest news this week was the Australian Federal Police raids on journalists. Misha Ketchell @mishaketch, editor of The Conversation @ConversationEDU, has written an editorial on the seriousness of this issue. We actually don’t have press freedom in Australia, even though we think we do. The laws are very weak. We are seeing the consequences of that now. What can we do? Advocate for a bill of rights. Hopefully the conversation will continue & we will see change but it will take a long time. It’s very complex & there’s lots resistance but people have twigged something is going on
