Dr Ruth McNair AM @McNairDr, Chairperson of Pride Foundation Australia Board @PrideFdnAus discusses the coming Queer refugee support online event with Pride Foundation Australia Wed 15/9 at 6.30pm. This will be a brief showcase of some of the work Pride Foundation Australia is doing and planning to do in support of LGBTIQA+ refugees and asylum seekers. Dennis Altman and Ruth will discuss their work supporting ‘rainbow’ refugees and asylum seekers. We will also hear from Manu, the peer leader of a thriving support group for queer refugees and asylum seekers in Melbourne; and Peggy Kurdo about refugee sponsorship.
