GBTIQ+ people still face discrimination at religious schools and in religious organisations. Laws across the country mean that this discrimination can be legal. To help us fight this discrimination and change these laws, we need to hear your experiences. It can be difficult to convince decision makers that these reforms are urgent and important. Hearing first hand stories of LGBTIQ+ people’s experiences; from being made to feel uncomfortable at school, to losing jobs, to having to hide who you are, it all adds up to an urgent case for change. If you or someone you know has had a personal experience of LGBTIQ+ discrimination at a religious organisation, big or small, please share it here. This can be a very sensitive topic and your story will never be shared without your permission.
