• Nine’s Big Miracles IVF docuseries is back for Season 3, airing every Wednesday on the 9Network for the next six weeks.
• The series follows courageous couples and individuals as they experience the highs, lows, and sheer determination of trying to become parents.
• In Episode 5 (airing on Wednesday 5 March), we meet Kaiti and Sally, a same-sex female couple from Dubbo, who share their compelling fertility journey.
• Kaiti and Sally initially tried to conceive through donor sperm and home insemination but experienced the heartbreak of recurrent miscarriages.
• Their story highlights the additional fertility challenges that many same-sex couples face – on top of the challenge of finding donor sperm.
• This story includes the opportunity to interview Kaiti and Sally’s fertility specialist, Dr Dave Listijono as he reminds same-sex couples that the challenges of infertility can affect anyone.
