Cameron Holland, Ryman Healthcare Australia CEO, discusses a new report revealing Australia’s underfunded and unprofitable aged care system is failing our elderly and is in desperate need of reforming. The number of Australians aged 85+ is estimated to rise by 1.5 million by 2058. Despite this, the Australian Government’s spending on aged care is one fifth less than other OECD countries at 1.2%.
