Sally and Macca are joined live on air by Dr Dan van den Hoek, Senior Lecturer in Clinical Exercise Physiology, Uni of the Sunshine Coast.

Dan is a senior lecturer in clinical exercise physiology at the University of the Sunshine Coast (Uni SC). His research currently focuses on strength adaptation and factors affecting sports performance, particularly in powerlifting and team sports.

They discuss the overview of how Australia went during the Paralympics – (finished Sept 8th)

Who were Australia’s main medal hopes and how did they succeed? What are the challenges, how are the Paralympics similar (or different) to the Olympics, How do the athlete classifications work?
