Anna Brown @AnnaEquality, CEO of Equality Australia @EqualityAU, in on the line to tell us how Angus & Robertson and Dymocks bookstores reacted swiftly to public pressure calling for them to remove discredited conversion ‘therapy’ books from their stores, following a similar decision by Amazon in July. National LGBTIQ+ advocacy organisation, Equality Australia, launched a petition for the removal of the books in collaboration with conversion ‘therapy’ survivors this week. They also have a petition to ask the government to consult with LGBTIQ+ groups on the impending religious discrimination laws.
