At last LIVE in the studio at Joy 94.9 The Squeamer and special contributor Stevie O’Cuana talked about the recent experience of putting together 2 PODCASTS celebrating and examining, with interviews, some women who are in Aussie Comics!

In the studio joining them is Scarlette Baccini creator of Zombolette and other comics creations, but also lead singer and lyricist for the band Dear Plastic who are due to release their new album Everything’s Coming Up Roses ….. the interview includes chats about her music and three of the songs from the album are included too. Scarlette is also the artist responsible for the Gay Zombie Unicorn mascot of Sci-Fi & Squeam !

The team played a brief segment of an interview with comic artist Alex Rosek ( full interview is now part of the Aussie Women in Aussie Comics Part 1 ) !

Kittyhawk is the creator of the comics Sparkling Generation Valkyrie Yuuki (SGVY if you want to save your tongue) and Useless King. SGVY is the story of a transgendered magical girl and Norse gods, and Useless King is a gay porn comic about a king who lives in a museum with his irresponsible guards. She has been working on webcomics since 1999 and is a big proponent of digital media. After wandering around the East Coast of the USA for ages, she now lives with her husband and computers in South East Queensland.
