David tells us about a new cooking show Who’s on the Menu? hosted by him and Sue from Friday Drive which is a fundraiser for Bent TV and JOY. Achai and Piper from The Edge Ensemble which is part of Western Edge Youth Arts. They talk about their ensemble and their play, Iago, which is a re-imagined, modern take on Shakespeare’s Othello. It’s set in a gym, uses modern language and draws attention to issues like masculinity, race, racism, misogyny and violence. Showing at The Malthouse 7 to 9 May.
Performers Amanda Goode and Jess Leadbeatter talk about their background and their new production called Lifeboat, a musical comedy about the Titanic! They wrote the script and lyrics, and they play 13 different characters.
