Kate Hunter has been an actor and performer for 20 years who creates solos performance work and collaborates with other artists across a range of disciplines. Her current work, ’Earshot’ is driven by a lifetime obsession of eavesdropping on the private conversations of complete strangers.
Built using overheard stories gathered from the general public in cafes, parks and trams, ‘Earshot’ is an epic poem of eavesdropping, combining the Homeric tradition of oral storytelling with voice-activated text projection.
Earshot is on at the fortyfive downstairs theatre from 29 November to 3 December.
