Kate Hunter – Actor, Earshot

Kate Hunter has been an actor and performer for 20 years who creates solos performance work and collaborates with other artists across a range of disciplines. Her current work,  ​​’Earshot’ is driven by a lifetime obsession of eavesdropping on the private conversations of complete strangers.

​​Built using overheard stories gathered from the general public in cafes, parks and trams, ‘Earshot’ is an epic poem of eavesdropping, combining the Homeric tradition of oral storytelling with voice-activated text projection.

Earshot is on at the fortyfive downstairs theatre from 29 November to 3 December.
